At just 20 mm x 20 mm in real DC/DC portion with delivering up to 140W power, the demo kit is a GaN-based Synchronous rectifier buck reference design by using our partners (Microchip/EPC/Ole Wolff) parts. It shrinks your DC/DC converters with enhances the system efficiency. That means a simpler design for faster time-to-market.

Features:

• Small dimension, 20mm x 20mm in real DC/DC portion
• Comprises 2 EPC2204 100V eGaN FETs with wide input DC voltage (12 V to 75 V), delivering up to 5A output current to support USB3.1 PD.
• Works under 500KHz switching frequency by using Microchip ACOT SR BUCK PWM Controller IC – MIC2128, reduces about 30% PCB size compared to equivalent Si MOSFET operating at lower PWM frequency.
• Easy to configure the output voltage (5V,9V,15V@3A, 20V,28V@5A) by simply adjusting the inductor and feedback circuit, achieve 96% efficiency @ full load.
